Flowering Cherry. This tree is highly prized for the beautiful polished new bark which is a bronze-red coppery tone. Very striking on a mature tree. You also get white blossom in spring and narrow dark green leaves that colour well before leaf fall. Deciduous.

The name 'Serrula' means 'saw toothed' which describes the edge of the leaves.
